Gathering
all of the paperwork for a loan application can be
intimidating at first glance. But with a few
organizational skills and this checklist in hand,
you can get ready in a hurry. Advance preparation
often means a quicker, more efficient loan
process.
Income
 |
W-2
tax forms and 1099's (two years' worth
plus current YTD pay stub). If self
employed, you need business and personal
federal tax returns (two years, including
schedules and original signatures), a
current YTD profit or loss statement, and
a K-1 on all partnerships. |
Financial
 |
All
bank account statements for the last three
months. |

Your
job history and any explanation of a job
change within the past two years. |

Verification
of your income from alimony or child
support. |
 |
If
renting, your landlord rating. |
 |
Your
residence addresses from the past two
years. |
Assets
 |
Stocks
and bonds. |

Life
Insurance. |

Retirement
Funds |

Furniture,
cars and other valuable property. |
Liabilities

Credit
Cards - include account numbers and

Auto
loans, leases - account numbers and value

the past seven years. |

Explanation
of any credit inquiries made within the
past 90 days. |

Any
bankruptcy paperwork, if applicable. |

Auto,
student, and credit card loans - include
account numbers, monthly payments and
